From the 23rd to the 31st of January, the elegant hull lines and outstanding design features of the two new Jeanneau Yachts and the new Sun Odyssey 42 DS are on display in Düsseldorf, Germany.Conceived by naval architects, Philippe Briand and Vittorio Garroni, the Jeanneau 57 and 53 are top-of-the-line, luxury sailboats built in the time-honoured Jeanneau tradition. Drawing on the wealth of experience of serving our many customers around the world, the designers of the Jeanneau 57 and 53 have achieved the perfect harmony of aesthetic design and practical features for comfort onboard and peace of mind at sea.These two sailboats of over 15 metres are easy to handle without the help of a professional skipper. The design team found creative solutions to ensure ease of handling in all conditions, including: a deck layout that simplifies sail functions, an ergonomic cockpit design, electrically-assisted sail handling, as well as innovative solutions for the design of the stern and asliding companionway hatch. On the interior, the two Jeanneau Yachts feature incredible volume and bright natural lighting, with numerous portholes in the deck and large windows in the hull. In the tradition of large Jeanneau sailboats, the woodwork glows with the warmthof teak, rich varnish and beautiful fit and finish on mouldings. From the interior design to the equipment onboard, each detail was carefully selected to satisfy the various needs of our customers.Presented with the complete Jeanneau Sun Odyssey line for the first time at the Düsseldorf boat show, the new Sun Odyssey 42 DS is the ideal sailboat for offshore sailing in stylish comfort. She is now available in a two-cabin or a threecabin version – each with two shower and head compartments – for 168,147 euros, before taxes.
